Industry Ownership Introduction

Horticulture for Tomorrow is being managed by HAL on behalf of industry. A major objective of the program has been to maintain and build industry ownership and awareness of environmental assurance.
Industry involvement has occurred at all levels, from growers (grower trial participation), industry leaders (at industry forums and sessions) and peak industry bodies (who have utilised their networks to promote the program).
Industry ownership has been vital to the success of this program. Strong communication; a national committee consisting of key industry leaders and constant collaboration with industry throughout the program has ensured industry involvement in the process and has boosted discussions surrounding environmental assurance and the future of horticulture’s environmental agenda.
